St. Patrick's Day Parade
The streets were full of life and the people
were filled with joy as we paraded along in
celebration of this day.The Beverly Pub float,
designed and built by Hugh and Mimi gave us
the opportunity to be the 1st place prizewinner
on this day. Chosen from among all those that
had entered. We went in believing that we had
an awesome float, but had no clue that we would
come in at first place.
Our float looked absolutely fabulous
and the creation unique . We are very proud
to receive the trophy and award and want to
share this fantastic moment with family and
friends.
We had a crew of friends that donated
their time and support to make this day special.
Although St. Patrick's Day was
originally celebrated in Ireland as a religious
holiday, in the United States it has a more
secular feel, with green beer flowing and shamrocks
abounding amidst an enthusiastic crowd.
